The Generational Health Equity Association

Our Mission
The Generational Health Equity Association serves as a catalyst to empower minority males in underserved communities through comprehensive health initiatives. Our mission is to promote mental health awareness, physical fitness, and nutritional well-being, thereby building a sustainable foundation for generational health.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to advance health equity for males in underserved communities by providing targeted social services, advocacy, and strategic partnerships. We aim to create inclusive societal, economic, and environmental conditions that ensure quality and affordable healthcare.
Why This
African-American males often face significant health disparities due to inadequate resources and information. According to the 2022 KFF Health Care Debt Survey, 60% of Black adults report difficulty affording healthcare, a higher rate compared to 39% of White adults. This demographic is disproportionately affected by health inequities, especially those who are uninsured or have lower incomes.
Today, minority communities lack sufficient resources and tools for health-related information and services, resulting in an ascension of global health disparities.2022 KFF Health Care Debt Survey revealed that six in ten Black adults (60%) and Hispanic adult (65%) were more likely to report difficulty affording health care costs when compared to approximately four in ten White adults (39%).Most affected by health disparities are uninsured and those with lower incomes.
Why Now
We are dedicated to improving health equity for African-American males by providing essential tools and resources. Addressing these disparities is crucial for enhancing life spans and quality of life for future generations.
The Generational Health Equity Association supports a better health equity experience by striving to provide access to tools and resources to help underserved communities get more out of health services. Imbalances in health access create shorter life spans and quality of life for generations to come. With inflation at an all time high, the economy weighs heavily on health equity imbalances.
Factors Contributing to Health Inequities
Racial discrimination, lack of access to quality education, income gaps, and poverty. Overcoming these challenges requires coordinated efforts from communities, organizations, and government.
Our Plan
We aim to reduce health disparities and promote meaningful health outcomes for African-American males.
Our Impact
Equity in Acknowledgement
We work to remove stigma and encourage proactive management of hereditary and genetic health issues. Our efforts focus on addressing and overcoming the barriers to acknowledging these critical health concerns.
Equity in Awareness
We inform and educate African-American males about the benefits of a proactive health approach and the overall impact of generational health. By increasing awareness, we empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
Equity in Accessibility
We streamline and enhance access to health resources and services, making it easier for individuals to practice and implement generational health strategies effectively. Our goal is to improve the availability of essential health tools and support.
