Marcus Cummings

CEO

Marcus Cummings grew up in New Orleans, LA where health equity is not prevalent amongst locals. Local and global minority communities lack access to mental health services, adequate nutrition, physical fitness resources, medical treatment, and professional opportunities within the medical field! His community engagement was magnetized and rewarded through receipt of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement award in 2016 for volunteer service.

His passion for health equity was accented by an array of tragic events. He lost two cousins within the past year due to heart attacks as well as losing a close associate to suicide. His eagerness to work for others was also driven by personal experiences with medical billing practices.

Marcus has a passion for nutrition which led to his inclusion as a top 100 finalist on MasterChef season 5.  He is also an active fitness enthusiast having loss over 70 pounds within the last 6 years and inspired his best-selling health and wellness eBook “Yummy Tummy Reduction” on Amazon.com in 2019.  During Covid he created a 2nd eBook “Quarantine Cuisine.”

He received a BS in Marketing with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans and an MBA from Texas A&M University Commerce. He currently holds a wide variety of titles including: Sports Agent with an active license as a certified contract advisor with the NFLPA having negotiated several million-dollar contracts, as well as Sr. Vice President of Product Management and Consultant leading global initiatives.
